The Doldrum Wind can come, in the person of myself, to get accomplished writers with projects to deliver, who have experienced a diminution of creativity and motivation, to feel inspired once more.

The service is carried out between you and me, by email or Skype. Of course if you can get to St Albans in England we can meet face to face.

I will assume that you need no further training in how to write, but have a writing project in hand that has run into the sand and some new energy is needed to get it going again.

Apart from the individual support and a chance to have fun with silly stimulating exercises, you will of course be able to discuss your project in detail and in absolute confidence. I don't steal other people's ideas.

Here are some of the stages we may go through, depending on your need:

• the overview
• the proposal
• useful structures to bear in mind as you write
• what are your drivers and motivators?
• keeping your story fresh
• being a self-starter
• finding your creative core
• self motivation is the key to sucess

We may find ourselves revisiting some fundamental writing and publishing principles, but there is no harm in that. Even the most seasoned writer needs that from time to time.

I will charge £5 per session, payable in advance by paypal or credit card. That can mean scrutinising a document and responding by email or a Skype interview of 30 minutes. [How to get Skype for free calls on your computer]
