The wombtwin questionnaire has been six years in the making. It consists of a series of statements, gleaned from mails and stories sent to me by wombtwin survivors. There have been six experimental versions of the questionnaire so far and each one has been carefully analysed to see which of the statements are the most characteristic of the wombtwin survivor.
From this, I have collated a series of statements that appears to truly represent the various physical indications of a lost twin and also the most characteristic feelings, beliefs and attitudes of the wombtwin survivor.
The present version was uploaded to this web site in June 2007. It will be left in place unaltered until 1000 forms have been received. As around 300 forms are received every year, it is anticipated that the full cohort will be ready for more extensive analysis in 2010.
I am willing under certain circumstances to make this unique data set available to interested individuals and groups who wish to analyse it further and use it in an article or thesis intended for publication in a professional journal.
