The Womb Twin Survivors Project |
Breechborn - an abortion survivor remembers
______________________________________
I came into being
With hot breath and a golden light.
I was surrounded by redness
And a cataclysmic chaos of resentment!
With me were many objects, floating in silence
And Another whom I knew, but will never know...
I gradually became aware of something invasive -
Searching for me with murder in mind!
I struggled to survive, to hold on, to live - against all odds!
In great pain.
Soon it was time to leave that arena of murder
Where the memory of my Beloved lay.
My way into the world was one of terror;
Of being wrenched, feet first, into an unforgiving, cold, white light.
Now I am born, I still carry the pain of those first months;
But the gentle love and constant companionship
That was there in the beginning, remains with me still
And calms me when the pain of memory is too great to bear.
