More than 300 people have completed the various research forms for me on this site and this data is immensely valuable. It is through the responses from twinless twins that we have been able to identify a wide range of characteristic behaviours, feelings and attitudes that seem to be related to the loss of a twin.
With this data we have been able to understand the seemingly bizarre feelings experienced by wombtwin survivors as a normal response to the loss of a twin before birth.

The psychological profile of a wombtwin survivor
As this period of data gathering will continue for at least the next two years, we warmly invite all surviving twins to come and complete this form, regardless of how long their twin lived and whether they died before birth or after birth. This will help to cement the tentative results we already have.
Data drawn from the responses of those with proof of their twin's existence will provide essential data against which we will test the other data, which will be drawn from the responses of people who believe they are wombtwin survivors but have no medical indicators of a twin lost before birth.
