When you find a womb twin survivor among your clients

• Make sure you are fully informed about the physical and psychological effects on the survivor when a twin dies before birth.
   
• If your client speaks about a lifelong sense of being a twin, take it seriously and explore this feeling in depth.
   
• If your client wants to relate to you as if you were their twin, consider the possibility that they are a womb twin survivor and that is why.
   
• Consider making a referral to another therapist specialising in working with womb twin survivors.
