After a brief but fruitful relationship with Headline Books, who published my first book about addiction to food, in 1991, I created Wren Publications in 1996 to enable me to get into print some other books that I had created.
The Food Addicts Diet only stayed in print for eighteen months - after sales of 8000. I brought it back into print in 2000 as Food and You: Stage one - Introducing the Four Zero Experience.
With the launch of the Not out of Mind project in 1991 it became clear that I was on the edge of mainstream publishing and few publishers would be interested in my ideas. The subject matter - miscarriage, abortion, the death of a baby - was deemed to be unpopular. However, to the people concerned the books are extremely valuable, so I just kept writing.
Arthur James Christian publishers believed in me with Not out of Mind in 1998, but this quickly went out of print. They were taken over, but not before I was able to buy up their complete stock, which has kept this book in print until ltoday and is available exclusively from Wren Publication - and like all my books, it can be mailed to you free of postal charges, to any country of the world.
Since 2006 I no longer print large numbers of books. I have moved with the times and gone digital - I now use Print on Demand.
For the Womb Twin Survivors project, I began with e-books. as they were very cheap to produce. Then in 2007 I published my first Print on Demand paperback book "Untwinned" with the help of Lightning Source UK. [Visit their website]
Since then I have printed two more books with Lightning Source. Its cheap, convenient, lucrative and it means no more heavy boxes of books to store!
